Our Location Motel One Edinburgh-Royal is located in the very heart of Edinburgh city centre at 18-21 Market Street on the corner with Cockburn Street (which leads you to the Royal Mile). Princes Street, one of the main city centre shopping destinations is on the other side of Waverley Bridge.Arrival by Airport Shuttle The hotel is a 35-minute bus ride (13km 8 miles) from Edinburgh International Airport. Please take the Airlink 100 Bus directly from the Airport to Waverley Bridge.The Bus stop on Waverley Bridge is 100 meters 500 ft from the Hotel.Arrival by Train From Waverley train station take the exit to Waverley Bridge. Turn left and Motel One Edinburgh-Royal is on the corner just 100 meters 500 ft away.Arrival by Car From Edinburgh International Airport follow signs for the A8 (Glasgow Rd) and Edinburgh City Centre. Straight over large roundabout (Gogar) continuing on Glasgow Rd to traffic lights. Veer left onto A902 Maybury Rd.(Maybury casino on the left).Follow Maybury Rd to junction with A90 (Queensferry Rd). Turn right onto A90 Queensferry Rd which becomes Hillhouse Rd (still A90). Follow until road junction and traffic lights at Blackhall. Continue on the A90 (now Queensferry Rd) over the Dean Bridge. On crossing the Dean Bridge take the left lane at the traffic lights and turn left into Randolph Crescent. Drive round the Crescent taking a left turn into Ainslie Place. Veering to the right, follow Ainslie Place onto St. Colme Street, which becomes Queen Street. Take the fourth road on the right and turn right into Hanover Street. Follow Hanover Street up and over George Street, then across Princes Street (Royal Scottish Academy of Art on left) and up the hill of the mound.
