'Aonach Mor' guest house is a stunning four star BandB run by a Scottish couple with an enthusiastic knowledge of the city.Set in an accessible area of Edinburgh - only one mile from the castle - the location is about as close to the city center as you can get without the late night noise. Regular buses will take you into the center or a taxi will cost you around £5. Directions

From Edinburgh airport the 100 bus takes you to Princes Street. From Princes Street or Waverley Railway Station you can take bus numbers: 14, 30, 33 86, 86a or X48 to the hotel which takes approximately 5 - 10 mins. If you are driving either tap postcode EH16 5DR into your Satnav or follow sings for the A7 which will take you to Dalkeith Road and Kilmaurs Terrace is on the left hand side.
