Each room has a telephone, internet access and teacoffee-making facilities.Shared pantry facilities in each building include toaster, microwave, fridge, ironing board and iron and fridge; hairdryers are available at the main reception centre. Shared laundry facilities are also available in some buildings.Full Scottish breakfast is included in the price, and is served in the John McIntyre Centre in the heart of the private campus grounds. Light meals can also be taken in the bar, and there is an on-site shop and ATM available for use by all guests.FREE cabled internet access is available in all bedrooms and wireless internet access is available in some public areas.Free car parking is available on a first come, first served basis only; unfortunately, spaces are limited and we simply cannot guarantee they will always be available. Guests will benefit from the 24-hour reception.Pollock Halls is just 1.5 miles from the city-centre and Waverley train station, as well as many of Edinburgh's popular tourist attractions. Alternatively, proceed to Princes Street and on the shop side heading East take a bus to the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Dalkeith Road (numbers 14, 30, 33, 86; £1.30 exact change only). From here, Pollock Halls is a short walk down Holyrood Park Road.By AirFrom Edinburgh Airport, for 2 or more passengers, we recommend a taxi for the 8 mile journey to Pollock Halls (cost approx. £17-20). Alternatively, take the Airport Shuttle Bus to the city terminal on Waverley Bridge (Adult: £6 open return, £3.50 single).
